Extended day director

St. John the Evangelist Catholic School is accepting applications for a part-time Extended Day Director for the 2019-2020 school year. 

The Extended Day program provides before and after school care for students in grades K-8 on days when school is in session.  The director is responsible for supervision and coordination of the program.  Duties include planning and organizing the daily activities, keeping accurate records, communicating with families enrolled in the program, and maintaining licensing requirements with the State.  Applicants must demonstrate an interest in and knowledge of children along with concern for their proper care and well-being.  Prior experience working in a child care center or school is desired, but not required. 

The program hours of operation are 6:45AM-8:00AM and 3:00PM-6:00PM.  This position will entail approximately 20-25 hours per week.  Specific work schedule is negotiable and will be discussed as part of the hiring process.

Extended day aide

St. John the Evangelist Catholic School is accepting applications for a part-time Extended Day Aide for the 2019-2020 school year. 

The Extended Day program provides before and after school care for students in grades K-8 on days when school is in session.  The aide works directly with the program director supervising children in the program.  Applicants must demonstrate an interest in and knowledge of children along with concern for their proper care and well-being.  Prior experience working in a child care center or school is desired. 

The program hours of operation are 6:45AM-8:00AM and 3:00PM-6:00PM.  This position will entail approximately 10-15 hours per week.  Specific work schedule is negotiable and will be discussed as part of the hiring process.

Now Hiring Substitute TeacherS

Completed applications along with required documentation, including resume and cover letter, can be submitted to the school office or emailed to the principal at nichole.rottinghaus@saintjohns.net.  All substitute teachers are required to complete a Safe Environment Training class that is offered monthly at the school.
