Personal Biography

I was born and raised in Schuyler, Nebraska. After college I moved to the Chicago land area and worked for the Main Niles Association of Special Recreation, planning recreational activities for all ages. I enjoyed teaching our special children in the area schools during the day and competitive sporting activities in the evening. During my tenure at M-NASR I coached Mentally Challenged Adults to two back to back Illinois State Championships. Serving as the area Special Olympics Director, I was chosen to the International Special Olympics World Championship as an assistant head basketball coach of the women's team. Also was the Athletic Director for the Golf-Main and Lindenhurst Park Districts. I have been married to my wonderful wife, Leslee for 19 years and have four great children; Connor, Brendon, Austin and Danielle. Moved to Loveland in the spring of 1997 to start Papa Murphy's Take 'N' Bake Pizza. In my spare time I coach many of my children's sports teams and assist at Thompson Valley High School summer baseball.
